The Audubert Vineyard is above all a beautiful story of family, sharing, and transmission.
Serge comes from a family of winegrowers and, after several experiences in this field, he acquired, with Nathalie his wife, Château Laborde in 1996.
In 2008, they took over the operation of Château Champs de Lalande under the Lalande de Pomerol appellation.
They were joined by their son, Vincent, who is also passionate about viticulture, in November 2014 and, together, they created Château de Cateau in Lussac St Emilion.
This family-run estate now extends over 29 hectares.
A Family Story
For three generations, the vineyard has been a family affair at the Audubert’s!
Serge’s father, Marcel, was a winegrower in the Lalande de Pomerol region. He passed down to him his know-how, his desire to cultivate the land, the vines, and to produce quality wines.
From the age of 11, Serge knew he wanted to make it his profession. Beyond a passion, it is a life commitment!
After his studies and 16 years of experience, he decided to buy the Château Laborde estate in 1996, with his wife Nathalie, and finally have his own vineyard.
With determination, Nathalie and Serge built this heritage for their children, to pass on their passion in turn. Their son Vincent brings fresh energy from his youth and a love of the terroir to the vineyard’s evolution.
