For three generations, viticulture has been a family affair at Audubert!
Serge’s father, Marcel, was a winegrower in the Lalande de Pomerol region. He passed down his expertise, his passion for cultivating the land and the vines, and his dedication to producing quality wines.
From the age of 11, Serge knew that this was what he wanted to do. Beyond a passion, it was a lifelong commitment!
After completing his studies and gaining 16 years of experience, he decided to buy the Château Laborde estate in 1996, together with his wife Nathalie, finally establishing his own vineyard.
With determination, Nathalie and Serge have built this heritage for their children, to pass on their passion in turn. Their son Vincent is developing the vineyard with the freshness of his youth and a deep love for the terroir.
The Audubert vineyard covers 29 hectares of plots, located across 5 appellations:
Crémant de Bordeaux (38 ares)
The grape varieties grown in the vineyard are 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon (with Sémillon and 1% Malbec). We blend these grape varieties to create wines that reflect who we are — convivial and warm wines.
